The Case 12270 Trapper gives the familiar two-blade pattern a tougher, work-oriented character through layered dark red burlap Micarta. Its full-size frame feels substantial in hand, while polished bolsters and a black oval shield maintain the traditional Case profile. The carbon-steel blades sharpen easily and develop character with use, but should be cleaned, dried and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion.
